Swim, snorkel, scuba dive, wind and kite surf.
Fact is that the water around Bonaire always is a constant, warm temperature of around 28 degrees Celsius. Some entries to this warm bath are rubble or rock but some have fantastic beaches, for both young and old to enjoy.
For example the beach at Lac Bay, a bay with a lovely, stunning sandy beach. The water is very calm and at weekends there is live music, which makes swimming yet more fun.
Furthermore, there is Sorobon beach. This is one of the ultimate Bonaire beaches for small kids and for windsurf lovers, an absolutely must see!
The perfect place to go with children for guaranteed fun, and also lovely, little beach bars for a bite and a drink.
The absolute best beach of Bonaire you will find on the small island in front “Klein Bonaire”. Just hop on a watertaxi that will bring you there in less then 15 minutes and you will spent the day relaxen in nature at it’s best.
Klein Bonaire has been protectes for many years and there is simply nothing but beach, sea and coral reef and fish.
How ever, Bonaire not only offers white sandy beaches, but many Bonaire beaches are filled with washed ashore coral. Very nice to see and it gives you an easy acces to stunning snorkling and scuba dive sites.
For snorkeling enthusiasts, there is Pink Beach and Ti Amo Beach, great beaches where the beautiful coral easily is accessible from the beach! But not only the coral is impressive: the beaches themselves are a very nice place to enjoy or for example to have a cosy picnic.
Similar to these beaches is Donkey Beach, located behind the airport. A great place for kids and families, for a BBQ (please bring your own) and to see arriving airplanes land just a few meters away.
Very intimate is the small beach of Wayaka 2 and a beach not to miss in the Park is Slagbaai. Great for a picknick and a jump off the cliff.
So if you just want to enjoy or want to be sportive, everyone can have their own fun on Bonaire beaches!
